Who?

This is a group provided for our client members aged 18 and up who are Veterans (or support Veterans).

What?

The purpose of this group is to support Veterans. From the VA, "The recreation therapist has a unique perspective regarding the social, cognitive, physical, and leisure needs of the Veteran. Recreation therapists weave the concept of healthy living into treatment to improve functioning, and enhance independence and successful involvement in all aspects of life." - U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Why?

"Recreational Therapy provides services to restore, remediate, and/or rehabilitate functional capabilities for Veterans with injuries, chronic illnesses, and disabling conditions."

How?

1) Veterans Benefits - If you obtain approval for our Outpatient Recreational Therapy services (covered through the Community Care Network or any other program), we will accept those letter of authorization benefits for payment for our services. Share with your VA health care team that, "The community provider you want to go to isn’t in our network." TRICARE appears to only cover Recreational Therapy as an ancillary therapy for inpatient treatment.

2) Membership - Access to sign-up for all available groups is included with each active monthly membership subscription to Inclusion Therapies.
